hydrate plant The lime hydrate (Ca(OH)2), represents the more known lime under product.
It meets many applications in the building industry and different fields as chemistry and polluting substances neutralisation contained in the liquid and gaseous effluents.
The continuous lime hydrate use increasing in new and always more sophisticated fields, have induced the lime producers to produce it with always more severe specifics in terms of quality and strictly range of tolerance.


production Often, today the chemical and physical characteristics of the produced hydrate, are more limitative respect what requested by the main international standard.
For this reason SIC has developed many experiences and researches both from the process and technological point of view.
Today the knowledge acquired allow to SIC to can propose to its customers hydration "systems" that represent the more advanced reference point in this technology.

  • Continuous ponderal lime dosing feed to the hydrator with control loop on the extraction equipment from the silo.

  • First stage with double shaft counter rotary at variable speed.
  • Adjustable blades as impact corner and passage in all stages.
  • Hydrator body completely insulated.
  • Continuous humidity control by IR rays (residue humidity 1,5%).
  • Dry de-dusting system with bag filter (emissions < 20 mg/Nm3).
  • Reaction water pre-heating group.
  • Water dosing on all first stage length.
  • Reaction water additive system (for hydrates at high specific surface).
  • Continuous electronic regulation of depression inside the hydrator.
  • Productions from 1,5 T Ca(OH)2/h to 30 T Ca(OH)2/h

  • High pre-dispersion grade of hydrate before the selection.
  • Continuous regulation of top cut.
  • Selectable top cut from 15 to 110 micron.
  • High granulometry stability and reduced percentage of final product in the rejects.
  • Absence of bucket elevators and screws.

"S" SELECTOR MILL

  • Milling circuit independent from primary selection circuit.
  • Possibility of rejects milling at different size respect the hydrate of first choice.
  • Possibility to make the milling and the product selection in exit from the hydrator with one only equipment.
  • Low noisy.
